It seems we have yet another fan animation project in the works (this makes what, three episodes and two movies total?) —  Rise of the Galiax, written and directed by one  Christian Cordes, with a fairly sizable team behind him, including popular Youtube voice actress Rina-chan.  So far they’ve released an animatic for the movie’s first scene, which is embedded past the page break.  It seems they have only one animator working on the film so far (although they’re recruiting).  Then again, it’s not like one man can’t animate a feature-length film all by his lonesome…  You can catch the movie homepage, with concept summary and some behind-the-scenes art here.
