I dunno, I think claiming that “Fall Weather Friends” is actually Rainbow Dash and Applejack fighting over whether the show is going to be a Regular Show-style meme depot or a successor to the Gen 1 cartoon (they both lose), or that “Best Night Ever” is about the show struggling to break free of the constraint that Twilight must learn a friendship episode every episode, are pretty postmodern. ;)
