Starswirl Academy is a visual novel project currently in development, produced by Rainbow Wavedash and featuring art from the very talented DerpiiHooves. The game is, naturally, based on characters from Friendship is Magic, but will feature human characters in a high-school setting. From the team’s About page:

“We’re currently hard at work shaping the concept into a fully-fledged experience. You’ll play as a new transfer student, fresh off the train. Since you’re a senior, it seems as though every one of your classmates knows exactly what their talents are. You couldn’t be more directionless, but that’s why you chose to come here, right? It’s time to find out exactly who you are.”
